  • Since the spring of 2015, 139 students have participated in the First-Year Internship Program at SUNY 新帕, and 54 alumni-employees have hosted the interns. In 2016/17, SUNY 新帕 student volunteers served 6,375 hours with a total impact of more than $150,000 in the community through Career Resource Center-sponsored programs, including Alternative Spring Break, Saturdays of Service, First-Year Internship Program, Make a Difference Day, 新帕 Clean Sweep, and tutoring at Highland Residential Center.
  • Over the past year, the Career Resource Center has partnered with Alumni Relations and several campus partners to host a variety of programs that connect alumni and students. This includes networking receptions in New York City, Syracuse and Rochester, along with on-campus events such as alumni panels, Power Networking with Ann Marie Sabath, and Table Topics.
  • In its second year, the Career Resource Center's Sophomore Shadow Program has seen great success with doubled available shadow hosts, three times as many alumni participants, and 50% more student applicants from its inaugural year! Assessments have confirmed that all participants agree that this program achieves its intended outcome to help students better understand their career interests!
  • 自2009年以来, student internship participation has doubled and our interns continually receive an average 94 percent positive rating from their supervisors.
  • The Career Resource Center moved from a generalist model to a specialist model in 2008. Students are matched with experts who review and critique resumes and cover letters, conduct practice interviews, and help identify job and internship opportunities.
  • The Career Resource Center supports an engaged learning community at 新帕 through its Major Connections Grant, which provides funding for 60 academic and professional programs a year, affecting more than 3,000 participants.
